About the Boulders Resort & Spa

The Boulders Resort & Spa is considered by some to be the best hotel in the entire state.
Located in the tiny, artsy village of Carefree, just past the northern edge of North Scottsdale, the 1,300-acre Boulders golf and spa resort, gets its name from a massive prehistoric rock formation where nature lovers can spot quail, jackrabbits, lizards, and javelina. The lobby has the rugged yet refined look of a lodge.  Guests can stay in a refined casita or suite with stone floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and stucco fireplaces, Navajo print rugs, and both cowhide and leather furniture.  Along with four swimming pools, miles of hiking trails, there are two 18-hole golf courses, and eight tennis courts.
