My New York City Marathon - Team Teal for Raechel Fundraising Page
Team Teal for Raechel - Sean Campbell
This November I will run in the New York City Marathon. I love a challenge and am busy training for the race. Though I have run in some grueling obstacle course races, this will be my first marathon.
My family and I chose the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition as our charity to honor our Aunt Raechel.
Raechel was only 57 when she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Though she put up a fierce fight, she was gone only two months later, leaving behind a heartbroken family.
Had Raechel's cancer been detected in its earlier stages she would have had a much better chance of survival. The thing about ovarian cancer is that the symptoms whisper, often going unnoticed until it's too late.
I support the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in its mission to save lives by fighting tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer and to improve the quality of life for survivors. I am proud to run with Team Teal this November with the NOCC!
Join me by making a contribution to my fundraiser and sharing this page with your family and friends. Every dollar I raise will advance National Ovarian Cancer Coalition's great cause!
Together, we can make a difference!
